Women who use on-line dating sites will typically receive many messages from both men and women.
They receive more incoming mail than men because usually dating sites have more males which are hunting for best looking profiles. So the question what to write in first dating message or letter is very important. For some replying to first message/letter is funny process but for some it is a real problem. So, how do you write your first dating message;
1. Show respect. If you are answering to email, first, write what you have been pleased to receive his message. Just show your respect to him and his time.
2. Write briefly about your dating objectivesand let him know that you are looking for a seriouss relationship and want to create a family (if you really want that). Above all tell the truth its important to be lead on or lead any one on.
Then reply to any questions he stated in his letter.
3. If the man did not attach photo, ask him to send photo with his next message or letter.
4. Do not write in the first message/letters about your town, ex-boyfriends and ex-husbands. At this stage it is more important to find out his views on family life, his attitude to relationship between a man and a woman, what values does he have in a relationship, what does not accept in ideal partner
5. In the first message/letter do not ask many questions. It is better to ask 1-3 questions in each letter. Here are the examples of questions you may ask in a first message:
- What is he looking for?
- What would he like to know about you?
- Does he have children, how many and what age they are, with whom they are living?
- Does he drink?
- Does he have own house or rent it?
- How long hashe used on-line dating sites?
- If you live in different countries ask him why he is looking for dating partner from you country. Which countries has he visited?
- What does he like to do on holiday?
6. With each message, send 1-2 pictures. But it is recommended to avoid explicit photos in bikini in your first message, unless you want to get down to the "action" very quickly.
Dating messages and letters are very different: some of them are the detailed and you may need to spend 10-15 minutes to read it, others quite short (like "if you are interested, write me"). Of course usually woman are primarily interested in long messages or letters but really my advice is to stop ignoring short letters. Some people cannott write about themselves to an unknown person, they first need a question to start a conversation.
What would you like to read in a message?
